Der Film erlaubt \u201eprivate\u201c Einblicke in den ganz normalen bis skurrilen Alltag von sieben \u201egemischten\u201c Paaren. 14 Frauen und M\u00e4nner im Alter von 40 bis 83 Jahren erz\u00e4hlen \u00fcber wechselvolle Erfahrungen im pers\u00f6nlichen Zusammenleben, wie die Beziehungen angefangen und sich entwickelt haben. Dabei r\u00fcckt die Frage in den Mittelpunkt, inwiefern die unterschiedlichen kulturellen Hintergr\u00fcnde und Mentalit\u00e4ten ihre Partnerschaften beeinflusst haben.
